More About Zena Smith
I grew up in a musical family near Penryn where both parents were active members of the local folk and Jazz scene. I took up guitar when I was 16 years old after first learning piano and clarinet. I have played guitar and bass in a variety of bands ever since in many different styles and genres of music from Rock to Jazz. I'm also a vocalist.
My guitars...I currently use an Antoria Custom which I bought in 1985. It has served me well over the years with a few knocks and scratches. It sounds very nice for jazz and blues and I use it pretty much for all my gigs now.I regularly perform in Falmouth at the Falmouth Beach Resort Hotel I also own a 1986 fender stratocaster
Columbus four string bass..a cheap old thing which plays extremely well.

I'm getting a custom guitar made at present by Toby Chenell in Bournemouth. I should have it sometime after September and I'll put some pictures up when I get some from him in various stages of manufacture.
